50 cents sends a book to a child in Africa.
Simba Craftware and Books for Africa have partnered to brighten the future of Africa.
Liberia is a country with only a 40% primary school enrollment rate according to(UNICEF.org/Liberia). With the funds raised from this project, Books For Africa will ship a container of 22,000 reading and text books to encourage children to stay in school by providing access to books.
Martin Akinseye, owner of Simba Craftware said Monday, “My goal is to help raise $12,000 by May 2012 through SimbaCraftware.com and DrumLessonsMinneapolis.com. That’s 24,000 books African youth will be reading!”
